Matayah is a privately held uranium exploration company focusing on highly prospective areas with proven historic mineralization. Matayah has chosen to focus on uranium exploration as the world searches for alternatives to increasingly expensive and political instable oil supplies. With current mine production meeting less than 60% of the worlds current demand for uranium coupled with an inevitable growth in demand for low emission electricity, Matayah believes that the long term price for uranium is sustainable at around $ 60 / lb as the cost pattern of nuclear power makes the industry highly fuel price insensitive.
